Every scroll you've shown are harsh; the don't show the softness of age with fades images with mist, the Ora of age.
ReplyDeleteI am old and have grown bonsai for more than 50 yrs. People of the east revere age and the elderly. ALL THE SCROLLS YOU'VE SHOWN LOOK AS IF THEY JUST CAME OFF THE PRESS. They are harsh and don't show age , wear,. or defects by being old. In bonsai deadwood means age the harshness of having survived a long time. Rolled bark over old wounds shows that age. Patina on metal shows age and adds the the value of an object. Although your art is beautiful it lacks the value of age. By olderthanstone@yahoo.com
