Guilin City in Guangxi, in the south of China, is very famous for its beautiful mountains and Lijiang River. Here is a nice Chinese watercolor scroll painting on Xuan paper, Guilin-style. The mounting is quite large and heavy, and has some light staining in the upper portion. Roller-ends are a wood or bamboo material. Artist unknown to me, is likely a contemporary painting, was mounted in traditional style a few years ago. Approx 31" x 73".
