This scroll painting came from Japan some years ago, but I think the painting is Chinese. Japan has been a big market for scroll paintings and they are traditional. The mounting might be Japanese.
It is beautiful and is hand-painted on paper with the silk fabric mounting. It is approx. 25" x 71". Has the usual and normal conditions that most used scroll paintings have.
Artist and age of this Chinese painting are unknown to me.

This Chinese scroll painting of Peony blossoms and butterflies is simple, yet so stunningly beautiful in my opinion.
It is hand-painted on paper with a silk fabric mounting, and has wood roller-ends. It measures approx. 29" x 70". Though it is used it has good conditions.
The discoloring or shadowing shown in the photos is from the lighting.

Another classic Chinese Shanshui scroll painting art. It is vintage, detailed, very attractive. Hand-painted on silk with silk fabric mounting and ceramic roller-ends. Size is approx. 24" x 70".
Has the typical conditions of used vintage scroll artwork. Very beautiful.....
